These terms apply to your use of softwarestem.com (the "site"), operated by Software Stem, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What the site is for
The site describes our services and past work and lets you contact us. It is information, not an offer. Any project we do together is governed by a separate written proposal or agreement, and where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement wins.
Content and intellectual property
The text, design, code, graphics, animations and project descriptions on this site belong to Software Stem or are used with permission. You may read, link to and quote short excerpts of the site with attribution. You may not copy substantial parts of it, reproduce project pages as your own work, or use our name or logo to suggest an endorsement without written permission.
Third-party names on the site (for example client brands, model names such as YOLO, or platforms such as ChatGPT and Perplexity) belong to their owners and are used only to describe our work.
Project descriptions and figures
Project pages describe systems we have built and the figures we measured at the time (for example dataset sizes or model accuracy). They are accurate to the best of our knowledge but are not guarantees that a new system will reach the same results; every deployment depends on its own data, cameras and conditions. The animated walkthroughs on project pages are illustrations of how a system works, not recordings of a live system.
The website assistant
The chat widget answers general questions about our services from a fixed knowledge base. It is not a substitute for a conversation with us, and nothing it says forms a contract or a quote.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that affects other users, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or submit unlawful, abusive or misleading content through the contact form. Automated access by search engines and AI crawlers for indexing is welcome, as described in our robots.txt.
Links to other sites
The site links to external products and profiles (for example live products we built, LinkedIn, WhatsApp). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is". We try to keep it accurate and available but do not promise that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Software Stem is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

How we handle information you share with us is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and any dispute about them is subject to the courts of Dubai, unless a project agreement says otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
