Face Recognition Attendance

Touchless attendance that identifies a person from their face and logs it automatically.

  • Face recognition
  • Embeddings
  • Biometrics
  • Automation

Face detected → embedded → matched against the database → verified.

What it does

An attendance system that recognises enrolled faces from a camera feed and records check-ins automatically — no cards, no fingerprints, no queues.

How it works

  1. Step 1. Each enrolled person's face is converted into a numeric embedding (a face fingerprint).
  2. Step 2. The live camera frame is scanned for faces and each is embedded the same way.
  3. Step 3. The live embedding is matched against the enrolled database by distance.
  4. Step 4. On a confident match, attendance is logged with a timestamp.

Where it's used

  • Workplace attendance
  • Classroom check-in
  • Event access control
  • Member verification
